Apprentice Classes are slated to begin this year on September 22nd. After recieving a sizable grant from the NYS Workforce Development Institute, we plan to incorporate virtual motor control and virtual tranformer training in order to practice these skills in a way that will be safe for our students.
This school year we will also be holding several continuing education courses for our CW, CE and Journey-level members. These courses include IBEW Orientation, Solar Installation Safety, Transformer Principals and Applications, DC and AC Theory, Motor Control, and many more!
We will begin the year with a renewed emphasis on hands-on training, while continuing to follow through on our committment to provide the latest, and most comprehensive electrial training in the area.
Skills, Knowledge, and Attitude are the qualities that our training program aims to instill in every student that walks into our Training Center as we strive to continue providing the best trained, most skilled, and highest quality electrical workers to power the Finger Lakes region!
